Challenging Stories with Youth Lessons...

Reading stories is a great way to teach kids the importance of sharing, kindness, and understanding as they go about their daily lives of exploring the world. I [R. Ren
ée Bembry] am thrilled to present these challenging chapter eBooks for children to read by themselves, with an adult, siblings, cousins, and friends. A great thing about eBooks is that children can read them, again and again, almost anywhere they go without worrying about destroying pages; and we all know repetition improves reading ability as well as comprehension. Challenging stories offers children a little more to strive for; and goodness knows that helping kids to push themselves is of utmost importance in today's global society.. :}

The chapter eBook on the left is about learning the importance of sharing. It is the first story in the currently growing series.

The sharing lessons unfold after main character, Mimi Havfun, decides she and her dog, Candie, will stay outside for an entire day. She believes that staying outside all day without once going indoors will be the best way to have as much fun as teenagers who stay out after dark.

R. Renée Bembry likes to include poems at the ends of her chapter books. Each chapter book poem relates to the theme of its story. The poem at the end of this story implores children to share their belongings instead of being stingy.

This tale aims at grade school children in general; however, the author believes in challenging readers, and thus children below fourth grade  may need assistance with the reading level. Fourth graders reading below level may need assistance as well.

Advanced readers should be able to zip right through the book; however, the verbiage likely will challenge them also.

The author recommends that older children or adults read the eBook to younger kids, or at least, assist them with the story where necessary.

These eBooks are now available on computers and other devices that utilize Kindle apps. Amazon also offers a freedownloadable reader! :}  Get more info about both eBooks below from my Amazon Author's Page HERE.
