Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Poem (Continued)

A Poem by R. Renée Bembry

All right now lift the jelly bread

Slap it atop of pb's head

Then press the two together

Yell out—"No twosome's better!"

Pierce your teeth into each piece

Notice how they sink with ease

The flavors grab your tongue

Scream now —"It's so much fun!"

Peanut butter and jelly

Is so good for our bellies

Yes! We can eat it everyday

At work or while at play

Peanut butter and jelly

Is not at all like deli

We can scoop it from a jar

And spread it very far - Yeah!
